Weekly Announcements

Good Evening Van Gogh Staff and Families,

There was a problem with the voiceblast delivery this evening so you are only receiving an email.  This week our valet volunteers are from Mrs. Khorani's class. Please help us to keep our students safe at drop off.  On Thursday, we will have our last School Site/Governance Council Meeting for this year at 2:45 p.m. in the library.  On Friday, we invite all parents that volunteered in any capacity to join us at our volunteer brunch at 10:00 a.m. in the auditorium.  Show your spirit on Friday and come dressed as your favorite Super Hero.  Let's keep attendance a priority during these last 14 days of school by being here on time each day!!   I look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

Ms. Merloni

WE APPRECIATE YOU !

Van Gogh expresses a HUGE THANKS to:

The Patriot Oil Community Benefit Trust Fund for their generous donation to support ALL of our technological needs for the 2019-20 School Year!!!

Our Friends of Van Gogh PTO for their hard work and commitment to fundraising to meet the needs of Van Gogh. We appreciate their support in funding teacher assistants, computer lab assistant, library aide, psychiatric social worker, and the YMCA Play program for the 2019-20 School Year!!!

Calling All Volunteers!!!

Our Van Gogh volunteers are an important part of our school's success!!!  Volunteers help with Breakfast in the Classroom, classroom support, PTO Events, and our Safety Valet.  Please review the requirements for all volunteers for 2018-19.

Volunteer Application Process

LOST AND FOUND

Please label your student's jackets, backpacks, and lunch boxes with their name.  This will help ensure that lost items may be found.  Our collection of unclaimed items grows rapidly and is donated to charity at the end of each month.

Peanut Policy

Please support us......Due to students with severe peanut allergies, we request that snacks and lunches stay PEANUT FREE!

We would appreciate your support in avoiding sending foods that contain peanuts or any other form of tree nuts, such as sandwich crackers filled with peanut butter, granola bars, and trail mix.

Some healthy & nutritional alternatives include: ham, roast beef, tuna, egg salad, cream cheese and jelly sandwiches, hard-boiled eggs, fruit salad, yogurt & fruit, fruit rollups, apples with caramel, hummus, celery & carrot sticks, animal crackers, popcorn, pudding or Jell-o, and Rice Krispie Treats. Thank you for your cooperation!
