Weekly Announcements

Good Evening Van Gogh Staff and Families,

We had an amazing Fall Festival!!! The entire event was so creative and heartwarming!  Special thanks to the amazing Fall Festival committee, the volunteers, and the generous grade level donations to make it a night to remember.  The altar was beautiful, the Coco maze was outstanding, the spooky desserts were unreal, the trunk or treating was so fun, and the delicious food made it a spectacular night!  This week our valet volunteers come from Ms. Gee's class.  Thank you for your time and commitment to the safety of our students.  It's time for Trick or Treat for UNICEF! Take your UNICEF box out on Halloween to collect money for children all over the world that need food and medicine.  Every little bit helps!   You can even sign up online to collect donations.  Have fun while helping others!  Bring your money to class by Friday, November 2nd.  Enrichment classes start this week!  Our Halloween parade is on Wed. Oct 31st at 1:55 p.m.  If you want to come early to help your child with their costume you can arrive at 1:30 p.m.  Be sure to sign in the main office as a visitor.  Parents please be sure to stand behind the students in their assigned area at the parade. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Ms. Merloni

LOST AND FOUND

Please label your student's jackets, backpacks, and lunch boxes with their name.  This will help ensure that lost items may be found.  Our collection of unclaimed items grows rapidly and is donated to charity at the end of each month.

Peanut Policy

Please support us......Due to students with severe peanut allergies, we request that snacks and lunches stay PEANUT FREE!

We would appreciate your support in avoiding sending foods that contain peanuts or any other form of tree nuts, such as sandwich crackers filled with peanut butter, granola bars, and trail mix.

Some healthy & nutritional alternatives include: ham, roast beef, tuna, egg salad, cream cheese and jelly sandwiches, hard-boiled eggs, fruit salad, yogurt & fruit, fruit rollups, apples with caramel, hummus, celery & carrot sticks, animal crackers, popcorn, pudding or Jell-o, and Rice Krispie Treats. Thank you for your cooperation!
